Midwest Airlines SKYWay Campaign Wins Gold

June 6, 2009 - I am happy to announce that the Out-of-Home work that Jesse Snyder and I did for Midwest Airlines while at Miami Ad School in Minneapolis just won Gold in the 2009 American Advertising Federation's National Student Addy Awards.  It's a huge honor, but unfortunately neither Jesse or I were able to attend the award ceremony (we found out via Facebook and the AAF website).

This recognition is especially rewarding, not only because Midwest Airlines is a great company, but because this is one of my absolute favorite pieces of student work.  It is local, timely and fun.  It's effective advertising that makes you smile; it provides a bit of unexpected fun in the environment and everyone I ever showed it to reacted with "Wow, that's cool." 

Thank you AAF. I am glad you enjoyed this work enough to recognize it, because I truly enjoyed making it.
